EXE Flegrei Exercise 2025

The national volcanic risk exercise, "Exe Flegrei 2025," is scheduled for November 5 and 6. It is organized by the Civil Protection Department, the Campania Region, and the Prefecture of Naples, in collaboration with the municipalities located in the red zone of the Phlegraean Fields. The exercise also involves operational structures and the INGV, with the participation of Sardinia and Sicily.

This event follows the national exercise "Exe Flegrei 2024," which was held in Campania from October 9 to 12, 2024. The 2024 exercise program included three activities: two focused on verifying elements within the Rapid Emergency Planning for the bradyseismic area (held in April and June 2024), and a third activity in October 2024, dedicated to testing the national planning for volcanic risk.
